Biography

Graciela Frecia is a multi-lingual international attorney with demonstrated accomplishments in international business, licensing, marketing and commercial transactions. Graciela focuses her practice on complex brand licensing matters, merchandise activations, events, retail operations, special programs and sponsorship agreements.

Graciela draws on her extensive corporate experience with The Coca-Cola Company, where she served for over twenty years as Senior Licensing and Marketing Counsel.

She brings to YK many years of experience as an efficient and creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity, complexity and nuance. Able to quickly determine and understand corporate objectives and make bold decisions that balance business needs with risk mitigation in order to achieve the business end-goals.

Experience

  • Graciela’s broad portfolio of work encompassed being the legal lead in connection U.S. Olympics’ sponsorship efforts, Community Affairs, 5by20 platform and The Coca-Cola Company’s global merchandise licensing business, all working across different cultures and countries. In addition, she supported the franchised & store operations outside of the US, including pop-up stores, for The World of Coca-Cola platform.
  • She led the legal team that managed all aspects of global contracts related to branded retail and promotional merchandise representing over US$ 1 B in licensing retail sales in approximately 100 countries and was responsible for the legal aspects of the negotiation and closing of a full range of commercial transactions and agreements including inbound and outside licensing, professional/consulting services, content, sponsorships, event agreements, procurement and vendor contracts, request for proposals, and agency agreements, among others.
