Biography

Aleen L. Khanjian graduated with honors from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2001, where she majored in Political Science. She received her law degree in 2004 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and was admitted to the California State Bar that same year. She was born and raised in Pasadena, California.

Ms. Khanjian has almost twenty years of broad-based professional experience. She works as a Family Lawyer, representing parties in child custody, child support and visitation, and spousal support hearings. She also represents and defends parties in Domestic Violence hearings. As a dedicated professional and fierce advocate, she also serves as General Counsel to a large construction firm in Southern California since 2012. She is highly creative, analytical, and continually strives to improve her legal acumen. Ms. Khanjian honed her negotiation and conflict-resolution skills through mediation training with the Los Angeles County Bar.

Ms. Khanjian has written promotional material and articles for local and community publications, and is involved with several volunteer and philanthropic organizations. She enjoys serving her community and working with people. Her multi-faceted experience allows her to utilize her talents for writing, speaking, research, analysis and organization within the legal field, as well as in the non-profit sector. She has also served as a Commissioner in the City of Glendale, making advisory recommendations to the City Council.
