James Wolf is Of Counsel of YK Law LLP and heads its US Immigration Practice. He is also founding partner of Lipman & Wolf LLP, “VisaWolf,” a well-established immigration law firm in the San Francisco Bay area.

James Wolf practices principally in the area of US immigration law, with a special emphasis on EB-5, representing investors, developers, issuers, and regional centers. He also represents investors in defunct EB-5 projects with strategies to preserve US immigration status and recover investment losses.  Mr. Wolf represents clients in collaborating with other party counsel related to foreign investment in the US including offering documents, disclosures, lender agreements, and state and federal agency compliance. James Wolf has successfully represented clients in federal court litigation to overturn unjust decisions of the federal government.

With more than 30 years’ experience, James Wolf serves as an Attorney Mentor for the American Immigration Lawyers Association, guiding other lawyers on the intricacies of immigration law compliance and strategy.

James Wolf is also a successful entrepreneur, directing commercial interests in renewable energy (pyrolysis), coffee, and technology staffing. Before law school, Mr. Wolf was an agricultural volunteer in a village in the Philippines for three years.
