Joy Xiao (Yue Xiao) is an associate* at YK Law LLP. Ms. Xiao has been a Chinese attorney since 2012 and was selected as a Lead International Attorney Reserved Talent by Sichuan Justice Department and Sichuan Bar Association, China in 2018. Passionate for business, investment and China-US cross-border matters, Ms. Xiao concentrates on providing service for international clients who interested in China business.
Ms. Xiao has joined Yingke law firm Chengdu Office since 2012. She had worked three years in China and represented China domestic and international clients in China civil law, business law, labor dispute and employment, litigation, IP and arbitration matters in Sichuan and other provinces.
Later, Ms. Xiao worked in an American law firm in downtown L.A, serving local Asian community for US California civil law and general corporate and business matters, where soon she found her value of serving Asian community. Further, She followed her passion in business and investment, and pursed her master of law(LL.M) degree and specialized in international business law at American University in Washington D.C. Upon graduation, Ms. Xiao was appointed to the representative person for Yingke New York office (Yingke Law Firm LLC). She assisted Chinese attorneys in collaboration with American attorneys in a broad range of legal matters and help international clients for China legal matters. She also worked in a law firm at Flushing to help Asian community in New York civil law and real estate matters. Prior joining YK Law LLP, she worked at a global law firm at midtown New York and specialized in China Practice.
Ms. Xiao never stopped pursuing her knowledge and skills in business and investment law as her strong passion. While working, she continued learning at Harvard Business School Online and Columbia Business School Executive Education to help more international business clients. She would love to create value and make a difference in cross-border matters.
