YK Law Partner Sasha Levin heads to Vienna, where Blockchain and Real Estate Come Together

On February 21-23, 2020, Alexandra Levin, Partner and Chair of the Blockchain Technology & Digital Currency practice of YK Law LLP (“YK Law”), participated in the Executive Board meetings of the Foundation for International Blockchain and Real Estate Expertise (“FIBREE”) in Vienna. Alexandra is a member of FIBREE’s Executive Board. She supervises FIBREE’s 12 chapters in North America and supports the continued expansion of FIBREE’s network and the launch of new regional chapters in the region. FIBREE’s Executive Board also attended the Real Estate Industry Charitable Ball at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna.

The real estate industry has proven to be a natural use case for blockchain technology and other PropTech innovation. As such, FIBREE was founded in 2018 as a Dutch foundation with the aim of bringing together real estate professionals and blockchain specialists from all over the world to exchange ideas and expertise. FIBREE has become a leading international network with more than 5,000 participants engaging in over 60 communities across the globe. FIBREE published the first global industry report on blockchain and real estate in 2019, with an updated 2020 report expected in the Spring.
