YK Law LLP is opening a new office in Dallas, expanding its service network to Texas and the southwestern United States.
The new Dallas office will be led by Dr. Jiannan Zhang, Esq., a seasoned corporate and securities attorney who recently joined YK as a Partner and Chair of Capital Market Practice. Jiannan focuses his practice on corporate, securities, finance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and international transactions. Jiannan has assisted many Asian companies, including Chinese companies, doing business in the United States. He has advised them on raising capital in the U.S. through public offerings and private placements, and acquiring U.S. assets and technologies through licensing and mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining YK Law, Jiannan previously worked in Duane Morris, K&L Gates and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP for more than 20 years and served as the Managing Partner and Chief Representative of the Beijing Office of Cadwalader. Jiannan represented Huawei Technology in its acquisition of Cognigine Corporation, which was Huawei’s first foray into the U.S.
